What multipliers are available on your board?
Sounds like you have an Athlon 1800, which is 1.54 GHZ. So take 1530MHZ / 266FSB = 5.75 clock multiplier. Get your MB manual or look on the board and see if you have a multiplier for that. just take it off auto detect, because obviously that isnt working right, and set the jumpers yourself for 5.75x multiplier.
