Belle, there was a GT-40 that Ford and Shelby built to beat Ferrarri at Le Mans back in the '60's, and it did. They soon outlawed the 427 and I think limited displacement down to 302 CI (I could easily be wrong as to displacement).
These new ones are concept cars which we all hope will be produced for whatever purpose. Rev
