Get yourself a 93-95 GEN 1 Lightning. 351W and will have absolutely no problem towing your stang. Underated at 240hp and 340 lb/ft of torque. You can race rice while pulling your stang to the strip. You could also then have two vehicles to race at the track when you go
. Most guys that have dyno'd stock L's have found more like 260-270 hp at the motor rather than the 240. The torque is what really does the work though. And the L's have plenty of it. Low 15s stock on the GEN 1's. Mine ran a 15.3@90 with a 2.3 60ft.
