I have the same problem. Except i replaced my AOD with a T-5 and now i need to replace thee T-5 with something. I've got 4.10's in the car also, with an S trim, aluminum heads, and cobra intake etc... I think you'd like the tremec better in my opinion. You'd appreciate it down the road if you did any heavy mods to your car. I know i wish i would have just skipped the T-5 and gone straight for a tremec. But now i can't decide if i want to go TKO or 3550. I know my T-5 is not a world class Z t-5, but i think you would appreciate the tremec's ability to take more torque than a T-5. That's just my opinion though. i'm no expert at all that's for sure.
