that chip is the SPOUT connector...if you don't take it out it won't adjust properly. Also careful not to lose it. I't easy to forget you took it out, then never put it back in.
Start the car, take out the SPOUT, adjust your timing(use 12-14) experiment at the track for anything else, and always use premium) then put the SPOUT back in.....and your ready to rock.
If you forget to put in in...you will run about 5 cars slower than b4.No spark curve at all.
