The only paint I've ever found to hold up to heat is VHT header paint. I used it on cast iron manifolds. It was rated for over a 1,000 degreese and held up for the 2 years I had the car. Bought the paint from summit. They should be able to tell you if it will work on headers. This is the only high temp paint I've found to work. Hoped I helped
