I agree, if your looking for a Sn95, then go for a 94-95GT 5spd.
My friend has a 96GT auto and it is a total dog. His 89 automatic convertible GT w/2.73 gears can even beat it  the 5.0 is MUCH easier to work on and has a huge aftermarket available which makes parts cheaper and easier to find. Then again, you could get a 96 cobra
