I would go with the 1996 b/c they are going to be faster than a 5.0 I had two friends who owned a 95 (5.0) and a 96 (4.6) and the 96 beat him bad every time.
But now take into consideration, are you going to mod it? If so I would go with the 5.0 The car will be cheaper and all the parts will be cheaper. Not to mention the 5.0 sounds MUCH better. And I think the 5.0 responds pretty good to any mod alittle better than a 4.6 SOHC. I think. |
