Dan McClain - owner and founder of Mustang Works Online - owns a beautiful, bright red Roush-built 1999/2000 Lightning with a full Bassani exhaust system. He might have some information you could use. I suggest you send him a PM. (Private Mail) 'Car and Driver' - not exactly a muscle-car magazine - tested a 2001 SVO Lightning and ran a 13.8 in the quarter-mile. A real driver (these Car and Driver guys are all over 40 and drool over anything foreign) could probably see mid-13's. I'm sure Dan McClain's Lightning could do easy mid-13's, too. This on a heavy truck with an automatic transmission! Not too shabby for stock. |
