The LS1's run REALLY well when it's cool outside. If he is stock just race him in the A4 dead spot, depending on gearing. At exactly 30-40mph the A4 doesn't downshift, and it lacks umph compared to normal. If you punch it anywhere in the range of 0-29mph, and 45mph-69mph it pulls hardcore. Catch him around like 30-40, and you should have a better chance. 30-40mph roll is def. not their strong part.

With the asp pulley or equivalent of, almost all the LS1'S drop about .2's, and the lid add's about 10-15 real hp, and the cuttout adds about 10hp. I am not doing ricer math either, this is really how the LS1's respond to mod's. I do think the guy has a stall if he is running 12.7@110 in a A4.
