![]() Could have a head gasket going away and loosing water into a cylinder(s). A static compression check might show something. Also check for bubbles in the radiator when the car is running after is has warmed up and the thermostat is cycling. Check the heater core as well, it could be leaking there, but I'd think you would have smelled antifreeze in the passenger compartment. The cooling system should be a sealed system, so it should be disappearing. Continuing coolant loss is definitely trying to tell you that something is wrong somewhere.
