Yeah, you could lose the FMU and go with 42#'s but if you do, you may want to consider a custom dyno-tuned chip in order to sort out the fuel situation under boost. Or, just go with a Speed-Pro ignition ($$$).

For now, I would keep the FMU on and keep the timing out of the motor (8 or 9 is probably as high as you want).

With ported heads and intake you should notice a difference - keep us posted on the results.
