My dad has a 99 hyundai sonata and the cruise control is awesome. You have to be above 25mph and when you hit resume the car floors itself to the set speed.
The first time I used it my dad yelled at me to slow down and I had to explain to him all I did was push resume  I very rarely use cruise control I can hold speeds fairly well on my own
