![]() Hmmm....I know that tire combination would definitely help alot. Especially the drag radials out back for traction. As far as the size I'm not sure. I know on a 17x8 rim 285s will fit. Our Lightning stock wheels (on the GEN 1s) are a 17x8 with a 275 width tire and some run a 285. Whether that will fit under a stang i'm not sure. Probably depends on the backspacing of the wheel. I know sometimes the wider tires have a tendency to rub the rear quad shocks of the mustang. I've never really looked into it in a while so i don't remember. Surely someone on here knows. You might post in the Blue Oval forum since it's kind of a general wheel question and see what you come up with.
