In a word, GEARS! Get the Gears. I didn't check whether you have an AOD or a T5, but if I were you, I would look at the following:
If AOD: 3.73 or 4.10 If T5: 3.55 or 3.73 You can pick up Ford Racing ring & pinion sets for $189.95 from Summitt Racing or from Jegs. Then, you can have them installed for ~$225 (depends on you area). Definately a great bang-for-the-buck improvement. You will not be disappointed.  Good luck and congrats on the baby. E
