![]() We all know that the 2003 cobra will be supercharged and have 390hp and will most likely be one of the baddest mustangs ever produced.
But what about the 2002 cobra? With the introduction of the higher powered and slightly visually enhanced 03 cobra, why would anyone NOT wait a few months to buy one instead of buying a 02 cobra? I mean, I haven't even seen any 02 cobra's on dealer's lots yet, and the 03 is expected to be out in early summer, which really isn't THAT far away. I love the fact that SVT has decided to finally put this much power to the cobra, but do you guys think the sales of the 02 will suffer? not that i'm in the market for either car, but if i was, i would definately wait a few months for the 03.

![]() Nope no 2002 Cobras!
![]() From what I have heard, Ford wanted to be sure that they have no problems with the 03 Cobra like the 99 Cobras had. Ford will also start Job 1 in the fall of this year for an early release last year. Originally Ford was going to release the Terminator or Special Cobra in 2002, however they experienced delays before they could start Job 1 (first Mustang built on the assembly line).
