Ok, I know it's the top-of-the-line Mustang, but Ford can't forget what the Mustang is all about: Great power and performance for a reasonable price.
I think the MSRP for the coupe model will be around $32,000. The unknowns are how many will Ford produce, how much hype there is surrounding all this, which leads to demand, etc, etc. This could lead to dealer markup's for "lack of availability." Who know's what that will be? My 1991 LX Coupe with every option - except it had the "radio-delete" option was stickered at $14,700 something. This Cobra will be twice that! But, with ~400 HP is nearly double what my LX had. An idea I was contemplating was to purchase an 01 Cobra right around the time the 03's are rolling out in order to get a good deal. Then, slap on a ProCharger, et al. and then go whip some 03 Cobra butt! ![]() E
