I'd suggest:

- K&N
- Underdrive Pullies
- Electric Fan
- Gear Change

These upgrades would provide about 0.5 - 0.75 second improvement.

If you turn your own wrenches, you could do the above for about $400-450, give or take. You can install FRPP gears yourself provided you re-install the old shims. The Ford tolerances are really that close between gearsets.
