Sound clips can be deceiving so be careful. From everything I know about Cobras(from friends etc..) and my old experience with 5.0's, there is no way the Cobra can ever really mimic the 5.0 sound. They just are different engines..etc. From what I've heard, x-pipes with a few mufflers can sound pretty ridiculous. I just keep the stock mufflers on mine, for a sleeper thing.

The power difference can be different for everybody. For me, as soon as I got the H-pipe on, I felt like I lost a lot of torque. I didn't like that at all. Once I got the X on I could feel that power and torque down low and throughout the rev band.
