If you drink so much that you black out, then yes, you should cut back. You don't want to become one of the people I see in my bar EVERY night, and at the rate you seem to be going you will be.
 These guys are right, just cut back, it takes a conscious (sp?) decision to quit or slow down. Good luck to you, and I hope you fix it before it's too late!
