Dark 5.0 - Sorry, but a '71 Nova is not a very light car. I'm assuming this kid's dad's car came with the big, bad 270hp 350 from the way he claims it moves. That makes it 3200-3300 lbs in stock trim depending on options. If you think that qualifies as a really light car, then I guess my new Stang is a featherweight too. I have several friends with Chevy II's - those are the only really lightweight Novas, although some of the late 60's models were a little under 3000 lbs.
