A coupe should be around 200 lbs lighter than a GT, give or take a few lbs. I had another 91 GT with an AOD and it weighed 3230 lbs without me in it. Most coupes I 've seen weighed are usually around 3050 lbs without driver.

Besides the fog lights on a GT, the seats are a little different between the two. I can't think of any other differences right now that would really matter anyway.

Bacause the coupe is lighter, especially over the rear wheels, they tend to be harder to find traction off the launch. They can make up for that once the car gets rolling due to the reduced overall weight.
