Some of those chips for diesels can make a huge diff. I saw on Crank and Chrome a few weeks ago where they tested a Ford F250 Powerstroke turbo diesel before and after the chip install. The chip they installed was an 80hp chip and it made an extra 76hp and an extra 158ft/lbs at the wheels, thats 311 hp and 652 ft/lbs at the rear wheels. Thats pretty impressive. Check it out here: Crank and Chrome Chip Install The chips also come in 3 "stages" Stage 1 was like a 60hp chip, more for towing and 2 was the mentioned 80hp chip for all around performance, and the 3rd was a 100hp chip that was for "extreme performance needs." Check the Chip maker out here: BD Power.

You can decide for yourself if you should be worried or not!
