Default BAD NEWS

I hate to say it, but without the 3.55's, he's going to spank you. Yesterday afternoon I had to go to Oxnard. It was about a 12 mile trip, and included two main 8 lane avenues and the freeway. Shortly after I left, I was cut off by a beautiful 2001 or 2002 F250 crew cab 4x4. It was huge, and looked heavier than a Sherman tank. It had a full size toobox in the bed, and a fat pushbar and wench on the front, and a coffee can sized chrome exhaust tip. He and I ended up going to almost the exact same place, and I watched him drive. He was either in a big hurry, or was just proud. Every light that turned green had him launching perfectly. I couldn't even hope to keep up with him, and were it not for a few red lights, and some luck on the freeway, I wouldn't have. When I finally did pass him on the freeway, he pulled around me like I was standing still. I kept thinking to myself that he must have a Lightning engine, or a V10, but I couldn't get close enough to tell. Well, when I was getting off the freeway, he was stopped ahead in traffic. As I got behind him, I started to hear a whirring sound that reminded me of a diesel truck, but there were none around. As he turned the corner at the light, I finally saw the POWERSTROKE badge on his fender. I was, and still am, shocked. I immediately thought of this thread, and how I should let you know that you are going to have your work cut out for you.

Good luck. You just may need it.

Take care,
-Chris
