I don't think that he was insulting truckers because there truckers. He was saying that you guys are just sticking together because you are truckers.
I have no problem with them either. My grampa was one for CF, my uncle is a private driver, and my dad drove for Union Pacific before he passed. I will usally give a truck driver more respect then cars on the road, but a jerk is a jerk no matter what you drive.
