Those things aren't going to make any difference on a near stock stang(waste of money at the near stock stage), it'll make a difference in your wallet though. Definatley get a 5-speed, the fox auto.'s just aren't fast without alot of work. Then the automatic tranny dies in them when you spend $1000's to get them semi-fast. Winning races is all about TRACTION. Get some sticky tires, practice launching, and practice shifting, and you'll be ready to go. Maybe get some 3:73's, exhaust, those mod's with your sticky tires should put you right around or faster than he is. Your husband is going to be pretty upset when you blow his doors off.
