![]() do NOT try to adjust the kickdown cable, because it isnt actually a kickdown cable, its the throttle valve cable (TV) and if it is out of factory adjustment then your tranny will be toast soon after
You really need to find out what you have before you start pouring money into it. If this guy you bought it from really knew what he was doing by heavily modding an AOD car then it should have a pretty strong AOD in it as it sits. As for the lentech, if your tranny is stock then you'll probably want to get the whole lentech tranny for like $1200-1400, somewhere around there. I think the valve bodies are like $350-400 alone, then you'll want to put a good converter in there too, $500-700 depending on which one you go with. What are the other mods to the car? It's not cheap getting 330hp out of a 302, is this an actual dyno numer or just what the guy told you just to sell the car?
