I happened to me on the top end to with some 9 inch slicks with around 10-11 psi in them. I was told at the time by the old timers at the track that slicks will do that when they get old and start to deteriorate.
It must be true, because I have run plenty of times with 10 psi in my ET Streets and never had any top end sway at all.
