For the past 2 years I've been building a replica of the '93 Cobra I used to own. I've done tons of research on the car, so here's some information on the rims. In the front you will have to use '93 Cobra specific rotors. They have a taller "hat" than the GT rotor. Caliper is the same. Also, I don't remember what year you said your car was, but if it was older than a '91 you should get new fenders (inners and outers). Pre '91 has a smaller wheel opening than '91-'93. For the rear, I agonized about using spacers. There's about a 5/8" difference (per side) in rear width between the drum rear and the disc rear. Luckily for me, I came across a burned (probably insurance job) Cobra and bought the rear out of it. I would strongly recommend NOT using spacers. Besides potentially being illegal, they are EXTREMELY dangerous. They put an incredible amount of stress on the studs. I'm not sure, but I believe some of the aftermarket rear disc brake kits will give you the correct offset. Check with Baer Brakes. They make a nice kit. My advice is based on what I'm doing to my car and my desire to make my car look and handle like my old Cobra. I've been told I'm a little obssesive when it comes to details, so keep that in mind. Good luck!
