Nice setup. Were the tf heads a pain to set up.
Sounds like a sweet ride. I also have an 85gt 5speed which is stock except for headers, pulleys and exhaust (still have 4 cats). It is sort of weird, some of my friends like the sound of the 85(roller cam) and some prefer the hydraulic non-roller. I myself like the sound of the non-roller(66) cam because you can hear the engine more and can also hear the secondary's opening more than with the 85. Don't get me wrong I like the 85 also but I do not think it is the same. Depending on what mood I am in usually depends on what car I take. I am not talking power or anything, just sound of the engine. Sorry for rambling but my friends really do not understand. I let my friend drive the 66 one time and he went nuts, loved it and it was funny cause I had never let anyone drive it before and I heard it for the first time as a onlooker and when he got on it a little I almost s&*^t myself since it sounded so good. |
