![]() Thunderbolt you are soooo right. These old cars were built for the safety standards of the day. Not todays standards.
What about airbags??? Model "A" fords had the fuel tank in the cowl and was gravity fed to the carb. Everyone loves the army jeep....cj model. They had the fuel tank under the seat. My 56 F100 had the tank behind the seat, in the cab with you. I could go on and on too. Times change and things get better, most of the time. There still are many things that I wish never had changed...sigh
