![]() I don't really see a problem with running the stock bottom end to 6500rpm. I'd be more concerned about the valvetrain.
Wigged out E7's can flow up to about 220cfm with CNC jobs and bigger valves. With the stock cam, I'd expect best shift performance to be below 6000rpm. The stock tach can get really crazy up in the r's. I took mine to fuel cutoff to see how far the tach was off. I hit 7000rpm on the factory tach before the 6250rpm fuel cutoff kicked in. |
