As far as adding boost, MSD has different products for different applications. And thet come with instructions to wire switch which disables your ignition system. Ive had my MSD 6AL and never had a problem yet and it was removed from my old car and put in the new one. And MSD is nearly the only thing you see in NASCAR and, up here, CASCAR. I love their stuff and they have a great rep.
