For this race especially, how much timing will you have? 13-15 initial will really help if you have 8-10 from the factory. Bumping up your timing is pretty easy and shouldn't cost much.

Also, yanking the front passenger seat saved me a tenth (I didn't do it when I raced the Integra though) A 15mm wrench/socket is all that takes.

What do you want to bypass with a short belt? Just the a.c or everything you can? I have March water pump, and crank pulleys set # 2010 with no smog and deleted a.c. with Dayco poly cog belt #5060730.
