Belt squeel? I've never seen a 4.6 where the belts don't squeel during shifts or after letting off the throttle during hard acceleration. This is aproblem with 4.6's. A shorter belt wouldn't hurt though. The tension is supposed to be able to compensate for the smaller pulleys though.
