E-mail it to me, I'll decode it for ya. Its easy. If its a true 64 1/2 and has a 289 with a 4 barrel, the engine code should be either "D" or "K". My old 64 1/2 with the 289 is a D code.

In 65 the 289 with a 4 barrel Carb (Non Hi-Po model) was designated the "A" code. They dropped the D code at the very start of regular 65 production.
