Pats been busy so ill answer for him as well. im 6'2 and hes like 6'0 ft i think and we both can see them nicely on his car. well..... mine was harder to do and isnt really expensive if u do it right. we made it nice adn smooth with bondo (i think thats how its spelled) adn it HASNT CRAKED like everyone who saw it and knew how we did it said. it still needs to be touched up. then sparyed it black. i recomend taking out the AC vents adn then spraying it. if you mess up the center piece it will cost you about $100. i took a piece of plastic and made a template out of it for the guages to fit in. then glued it into place and bondo it to make it smooth. hope that gives u an idea on how to do it. good luck

Thanks for the helpful response, I'm not about working with bondo, but thanks anyways. BTW, I bought that center piece off a 2001 for $20. You just have to know where to look .
