![]() R1 vs. busa....The R1 is a low 10 second bike..busa' a high 9 second bike. Th r1 weighs in at around 375 dry, the busa weighing in at 480 dry. The busa is more straight line performance, while the R1 is both street, and track, and twisties. It's easier to ride a wheelie on, do stoppies, and it's alot easier to ride, weight wise. R1 makes 152 claimed hp, while the busa makes a claimed 160 ish. The busa makes about 20 more hp. But it weighs 105 lbs more. Busa's just don't do it for me, I wanted a light weight bike, that goes 175ish, and runs low 10's stock. But I really didn't have specs like that, I've had an R1 before, and I have to add, this one is alot better, than my previous 00.
