IMHO, I think that 5.0 mag has much better technical articles and pictures. Sometimes, MM&FF will skip an important part of an install process or make a 331 stroker buildup look like it only takes 2 hours to do everything.
 However, I have read a few good technical article in the past few months, so it may be worth it. I think it's like $24 a year to subscribe - not bad, although 5.0 is cheaper. If you don't want to spend the money, flip through one at your local supermarket and see what you think. E
