The NOS booster also turned my plugs red. I made Murray's buy me a new set of plugs after that one, and yes it did feel a little different (as in SLOWER) after that junk.

Get a good shift kit for that AOD, a BIG tranny cooler, a new throttle body grommet for the TV cable, and adjust the TV cable to the proper tension. You can go over to Baumann Engineering to get the full explanation on adjusting the TV cable, which is one of the most important pieces to the survival of your AOD.
