well i found the problem. I was just driving down the street near where i live and i came to a stop sign, i took off the line and pushed in the clutch to shift into 2nd gear and suddenly the clutch popped and dropped to the floor. i pulled over and let the engine die. now whether the clutch pedal is on the floor or pulled back to normal position the transmission stays engagedl, so i can't even push it somewhere. does this mean that the clutch just blew out, or is it something else? i also don't know what the throwout bearing does.
anyway, i have this sinking feeling that i'm screwed...
