![]() I used to have a similar problem of rear wheels hopping under any type of acceleration due to springs wrapping. These old light weight leaf spring cars are known for that. I fixed my problem by getting the 5 leaf springs and fabricating some traction bars out of heavy duty toplinks that are adjustable so I can "tune" the rear suspension with two cresent wrenchs. But from reading your reply about dumping your clutch frequently it may be going out, almost guaranteed if it is still the stock clutch.
