I'm a EFI guy but I run the Aermotive system. You should try to get the pump as close to the sump as you can. It also has to be mounted under the sump so it can be gravity fed. Pumps don't like to suck they like to push. I'm not sure about the return line on a carbed regulater. On my EFI I run a -6
