If you plan on running your stock block,crank,rods,pistons and not planning to rev it over the 6250rpm limit get yourself a long runner intake like the cobra,edelbrock performer,etc,etc. you will have great torque(read more fun on the street) and great power up high for racing.

The box style intakes are more geared towards the all-out racer with a built short block built for racing and the higher rpm's
