I have owned a mallory unilite

it was fine for a while, but never did produce the rock smooth idle, and upper rpm power that i required. I would advise you against the unilite, simply because the ford magnetic trigger and Hi 6 box are as close to a magneto system that a street rod can expect. All for less than 250.00. That is an awesome bargain and comes with multiple spark and rev limiter built in.

Could you ask for more.

(The Unilite modules burned out twice in my application. I carried a spare point and condensor so i could run when they quit. Very disconcerting!)
