LX3 is the Body Code.
LX3 is the body code for LX Mustang hatchback (the 3 stands for 3-door), and is also found on the LX Escort hatch. LX2 is the base model LX Mustang, and the LX Thunderbird. LX4 is the LX Crown Vic, and the 4 door notch LX Escort. LX5 is the 4 door hatch LX Escort. LXW is the LX Escort wagon. LXC is the LX Mustang Convert (GTC is the GT 'vert). Get it?
