Hehe, 300hp. Yeah right. By the way, I would disagree that it's fundamentally the 01 Cobra engine.

The Mach 1 is getting custom camshafts, a revised intake, and a functional ram air hood scoop. Besides, the 01 Cobra's are really making more like 340hp+ at the crank. I would expect the Mach 1 to be seriously underrated, and that real output will be in excess of 350hp.

The new Cobra has bascially been dynod at about 390RWHP. LOL. Yeah, 390hp alright, it's just listed at the wrong spot. Try 470 at the crank.

To jp, why is the Cobra such a poor handling car in your opinion? It's certainly not having fully independant suspension at all 4 corners causing performance issues. It's going to be too heavy, that's for sure, but it'll be easy to drop weight, and a suspension kit isn't going to set anybody back more than 1k. So at 15k less than a Z06 or over $40k less than a Viper, with two more seats, in a different class, I'd have to say the Cobra will probably hold it's own just fine.
