Would you guys quit? I have an 87GT that takes LS1's and I had a 2001GT, which the 87 pulled hard, and I now have a 2002 GT.
Some cars run harder than others, and the Cobra and the GT are less than a 1/2 sec apart. That Cobra weighs more like 3400lbs btw, and with a couple little changes, it will smoke a new GT. EEC Tuner and an off road H, exhuast, and gears is likely to have that Cobra running low 13's. The Cobra's engine is basically a 300hp+ engine with a crappy computer. If you were to swap the cam and add a 65mm T/B you'd have the basis for a 320hp engine with strong low end, and a hard core midrange. |
