I'm going through the same thing. I can get either much cheaper than retail, but I am going to go with the TKO so I will have room to grow on in case I decide on a s/c. I would hate to spend the money for a 3550 now just to get more power later and worry about breaking it. But the 3550 is no slouch though, it handled the S351 saleen. But if it were me I would go with the strongest and not worry about it again.
