![]() A stock 96-96 4.6 2v doesn't really have the power band to utilize 4:10's. I think he made the right decision with the 3:73's.
Tell him to get a shifter no matter what he has planned for the car. The Steeda Tri-Axe and Pro 5.0 are the two best out there IMO. Just so you know, that $1500 isn't only for the PI heads, thats for a full Ported and Polished head swap kit that includes everything needed to do the swap (new intake, dipstick, gaskets, etc.) The swap will put his car deep into the 13's. The only problem with the swap is that he will be running 10.5:1 compression, which although is perfect for a N/A setup, is almost too high if he wants to add a power addder down the road.
